COMPANY HISTORY
Global Ballooning was established in 1993 and operated solely in East Sussex, building its name as a reliable friendly local company; flying over some of the most picturesque countryside north of the South Downs.
In May 2006 Global was taken over by Balloon School(International) Ltd which operates several balloon companies in the UK. This now allows Global the advantage of a greater capacity and flexibility with launch sites-it still uses its same ground crew and pilots, offering the same local friendly service as before.
The majority of our office staff are very experienced in hot air ballooning and have been working for the company for many years, so they can always accommodate any enquiry you may have. They also have a lot of experience in understanding the areas you might want to fly in and the capabilities of the balloons.
