Meet The Pilots
Graeme Scaife
Graeme is the chief pilot for the company. He has been flying hot air balloons for over 20 years and is the director and Chief pilot of Balloon School (International) Ltd. With so much experience he always has a story to tell, he will always make for an entertaining flight.
Robin Shapland
Robin is a pilot who has many years of balloon flight experience, having flown in the Sussex area for British School of Ballooning since 1993. Robin always offers an informative and professional balloon flight experience.
Robin is the land owner relations officer for the Sussex area and has fantastic rapport with a majority of the farmers he lands on.
Leonard Goldsmith
Leonard is from Biggen Hill is another very experienced pilot having been flying hot air balloonss since 1992. Previous to ballooning Leonard was in the military and now has many hours of experience. Leonard offers a relaxing and jovial atmosphere with every flight.
Matthew Scaife
Matthew is another one of our pilots who has over 1000 hours of ballooning experience in the UK and Australia. He has been involved in ballooning since he was a child and was the youngest person to have achieved a Commercial Pilots license. You will love his calm, relaxed approach to your special experience.
